Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family. Most of us would give our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too often as if we take our family for granted. — Paul Pearshall
Not sure whom exactly to give credit for this one...Sabrina says it to Linus in the newer version of the movie "Sabrina." "More isn't always better, Linus, sometimes it's just more."
"Great tranquillity of heart is his who cares for neither priase nor blame" Thomas a Kempis
and
"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." Dumbledore in "Chamber of Secrets"
(Nope - - I don't read Harry Potter, but my husband does - - - and he put this quote on our refrigerator - - - and being a teacher - - and a mom - - I LOVED it.)
